becoming a mother

It’s been a really long time since I’ve written a blog post, so much has happened! The main and most important reason my focus and attention has shifted, is my beautiful boy Gavin. I really wanted to be able to enjoy my pregnancy and the whole journey of this amazing process, without worrying about traveling and running myself crazy like the last 15 years! I was able to do so in Santa Cruz, surrounded by my family, and focus on being as healthy as possible. I’ve always looked forward to becoming a mother, and it has exceeded my all expectations. The challenges have been harder then I thought, but the love and fullness of my heart has been beyond what I imagined too. Gavin is 16 months now, and he is the light of our lives.

I’ve really enjoyed the community of other Mom’s who have shared advice and tips during pregnancy and after the baby is born. I’ve learned so much from other great women and I’d love to pass on any information that might be helpful to others. Feel free to ask!

I’ll will be posting next about my latest project I’ve been working on for a while and very excited to share!

Stay tuned!

Much love, Marisa

What a beautyful boy Marisa, he’s so precious. Congrats!!
I’ve became a mother too. Next wednesday will be his first bday =) we’re clueless about what his bday gift may be… Also, we will be traveling to the south (very south: to Coyhaique) to visit a very dear family with a same age cousin of him (and bday party hehe) and to look for new job oportunities (my partner and i are physical therapists and haven’t found good jobs here in Santiago, so we’ll be looking for oportunities there near my aunt and family) We´re so excited this gonna be their first fly!
I love hearing of yur process and experience.
    Much love from Chile,

I’m glad everything has been going well for you, and that’s definitely more important than the silly internet. Missed your insights; glad to have you back!
